Sulfotransferase that utilizes 3'-phospho-5'-adenylyl sulfate(PAPS) as sulfonate donor to catalyze the sulfate conjugation of many hormones, neurotransmitters, drugs and xenobiotic compounds. Sulfonation increases the water solubility of most compounds, a
